I had a total colectomy in 1992.  The older I get, the more gas I have.  I get so embarrrassed when I am in a meeting at work or talking with someone and my abdomen is louder than me.  I have pains and severe bloating.  GasX is not always helpful.  I am seeing my GI in a couple of weeks and in the past he has not been very helpful with this situation.  I take a probiotic and prilosec daily.  Any suggestions?
