Hello. I'm 36 year old female and I would like to hear more about some aspects of healthy weight loss.
To be honest with you- I don’t believe much in all these diets because there is no healthy weight loss without physical effort and exercises.
It’s very hard for me to control my eating habits and to go out and run by my self. I even hate going into gym by my self and I would really like to talk with someone with the same problems and same goal.
Just recently I have heard about this TOPS Club and I really don’t know anything about it accept the fact that this is some support group for people who are overweight. Doest anybody know more about this?
Hi. I will gladly help you because I know some facts about this TOPS club. Like you said, TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is one nonprofit, non-commercial weight control support group.
You could assume just reading the name that the TOPS program focuses on weight reduction through sensible dieting, regular exercise and group support. They claim that person doesn’t have to go through all this by it self. If you become a member you will be able to receive educational and motivational programs, discussions, an ongoing walking program, lectures, visits, social activities, retreats. They even organize weight loss competitions and awards. Many people with same problem on one place working together- that can't be wrong!
