Hello,
Is there anyone that has had bone spurs removed from the tips of your big toes. I had surgery in December of 2005 and am experiencing severe pain at the tips of my toes. I was diagnosed with a fungal problem, which was caused by having bone spurs which was raising the nail bed for moisture to enter. My podiatrist removed just a small portion of my outer nails after removing the bone spurs. I have been in pain and have been on pain medication since. Someone said to me that I could have a bone disease called osteomyelitis. Has anyone had this experience? If so, please tell me what you did to help rid the pain. I am thinking about going to a new podiatrist for a second opinion.
Thanks,
B. Gresham
