Treating SLE-induced kidney inflammation?

Are there people here who have experience with Systematic Lupus Erythematosus? I am hoping this is the right place to learn about kidney inflammation induced by SLE and the treatment of such inflammation? Would the treatment need to be combined with the SLE treatment or would it be treated as any kidney inflammation unrelated to Lupus?
