Yay finally someone experiencing what i am... Can't really say that im in any pain (sore abs after a tough work out are worse), so now i am going to stop panicing over MAYBE it biting me in the ass :D

It is absolutely normal to have it. Give it some time and do read more about it from genuine and credible sources. Your body was subjected to a huge change and it will for sure take its sweet own time to get back in shape. Tummy tuck as an effective surgery do need some time to be subdued! I got my tummy tuck done from Dr. Michael Kreidstein's clinic in Toronto and had to give it some time to get over. My doctor kept on giving me moral support so that I was not the least scared!

I am 2 1/2 weeks post op from tummy tuck and lipo i got my drain out at a week post op and 2 days out from a BA i just had a follow up today my PS said all looks good , im not a DR so what do i know but i am still very hard and very numb just got staples out on wednesday day of my BA i still have a slight muffin top (better than pre op lol ) but just wondering does any of that ever get better my PS said it can take 3 months or longer just wondering if anyone else had same thing with their post op and how long it took to get 'normal"

It is better to prepare for a tummy tuck recovery after 4 or 5 weeks. Mine didn’t took that longer, it will be within this time. We should always be patient with the healing process. For me the swelling was more in pubic region and lower abdomen region. I sued to notice swelling in days in which I was more active. It took 3 months for me to get fully recovered from swelling and bloating. I was bit worried when it all started, but it was worth.

Hi there l had my op 2 weeks ago and in my 2 weeks l develop a lot of fluid.it feels like am pregnant and doctor drained me 3 times already.this is really very frustrating.and the fluid makes the tummy stretch a lot.when will this stop or what can 1 do to stop it.l paid to have a flat tummy and not fluid that stretches it.

I'm 14 days post op and my doc said I can go to the gym, just take it easy. I did 2 miles on the treadmill (walking)...When did ipoh go back to the gym? He says I'm healing ahead of schedule. I normally do with surgeries.

I'm 4 weeks post op from tummy tuck and muscle repair and I have this exactly. I'm swelling on one side only. I have a pocket of fluid on one side. How long did it take for hours to clear? Thanks.

Just be patient you still have a way to go. It will get better as the weeks go by. I am 5 weeks post and looking awesome. It will gradually happen. Blessings

I also had my tummy tuck/mommy makeover in Tijuana 2 months ago. I had to go to hospital because of fevers 6 weeks post op. And bad burning. They drained and put me on IV drip. I am having fevers and pain again at 8 weeks. I had to pay extra $7K for 3 days in hospital and could of just had it done I. TEXAS.
I'm on penicillin again hoping I nt have to go back in hospital.
