I have it daily. I wonder if its a clott breaking up. Hypothetically, could it be a response to overusing that side with my phone???:the waves with smart phones are strong.

I'm SO happy I found you guys. Reading the previous posts has really brought me a little peace of mind. I began to think this feeling was related to a tooth infection or something worse! I still plan on following up with a Dr ASAP, but at least I can rest in the meantime ;) God Bless, I'll Pray for healing and understanding for us all tonight

High I usually dont comment on these things but i was experincing the same thing for almost a year on the left side of my head a little above my temple was an annoying spasm feeling or twitching its hard to explain, well more problems came up like for example i started having knee pain and so I went and got x-rays from my doctor and he did some blood work after he saw my knee results because I was having degenerative changing in my knees and i didnt have arthritis so he did a blood test on lyme disease and come to find out the lyme disease was causing all my problems! When i started on my antibiotic the twitching stopped. Im not saying thats what yall have but if u wanna try and get checked for it, its worth finding out Good luck! God bless!

Hello I know these posts are now eons old really but I've got pretty much the same. Random twitching near my left temple, every 2 weeks or so I'd get it, then recently especially today it's getting worse. Had it for about 6 hours so I thought I'd give it a look up on the interwebs. Got dentists in 4 days so ill ask them, but looking at the TMJ/TMD it said try a warm flannel so I am, seems to be easing up a bit. It's freaky getting it though, you do panic something major is going wrong. Head twitching is never fun!

Yeah, all of you sound like what I am going through as well. I have no clue what it is. I went to my dr. She treated as either stress related or a sinus infection. I don't have sinuses and never have, but I'm willing to be open for a diagnosis. I did notice that I have been highly stressed with work and family life. I love both but sometimes it can be a bit much. Also, I tend to struggle with impending doom thoughts and often obsess about what would happen to me. I sometimes think I'm think I'm going to drop dead any hour and I often wonder where I'll be when it happens. So uplifting I know..:) I know that's a pretty stressful thought especially with a wife and two adorable kids. I do struggle with thoughts like this on a regular basis. It could be contributing to these symptoms. I appreciate everyone being candid, it isn't easy. Hope everyone finds their solution. God bless!

I have the same symptoms. I finally went to a doctor and he said it could be lack of good sleep, anxiety, caffeine, or even sodium.

I still have this temporal twitching & now I feel as if there's some sort of pressure in my brain or just this weird feeling. Sometimes its not there but other times it is. I dont feel pain nor nausea nor do I wake up with a big headache because I thought brain tumor but I dont have those symptoms so this is just driving me nuts.

Hi the best thing to do is go get a Cranial-Sacral treatment at an Osteopath. They have four years of training and very safe. If you can't afford it, then Google up a school of Osteopathy, students will charge much less and in their fourth year of study already with lots of practice. As for the cranial-sacral treatment itself: It is world renowned for head injuries, even though you may not have a concussion, or worse...and if it is simply gas, as you indicate, then they would know how to treat it. Do not go to one that says you need more than 3 treatments. I was fixed up in one. You may even need only one for yours most likely. If they say you need many many treatments find someone who isn't bent on greed, as unfortunately, no matter what profession and ethical training people get these days, we are all al little warped and greedy and not by my own experience with Osteopaths, but with other types of practioners in other fields, unfortunately, I have encountered such beasts. God forgive them. So please try this treatment it will fix you up. I paid $100 for it but a student may charge less. I had a minor shift in my neck and where my skull sits due to degenerative disk disease and improper posture and was experiencing pressure in my right side of my skull and pulling in my right eye, and with one gently applied massage and adjustment (like going for a chiropractor for your skull but way more gentle and very soothing)...I just had one done last year, and then injured myself again this year. So I went to get it done (45 minutes) and right away, my tension headache and strain was gone. Sometimes our bodies become like old vintage cars, a tinker here and a tinker there and she runs like new. Good luck everyone. Sincerely, I can't say any thing bad about this treatment.

I ride my bike a lot and my bones in my neck are disintegrating, this is called "degeneration" of the disk, it is pretty normal for some people who are genetically going to have their bones degenerate, but most people do to a degree, maybe I don't get enough minerals and water. I smoked a lot as a 20 to 36 year old when I stopped smoking. This too dries out the minerals in your bones, although there is a more technical word for dried out, this is to just explain why the bones break apart or dissolve. The skull no longer sat in the right position because I may lean to one side more or when I ride my bike I may push harder on one side and then the already unsteady position of my head tilts. The thing is I don't have pain anymore. Did you go to an Osteopath? They have colleges for Osteopaths and the students are 3rd year so they know their stuff and cost a fraction of a graduate's.
