same here. same symptom - twitching on my left temple, no pain, just involuntary twitching. i have chronic sinusitis for years now, it may be the cause, but the twitching is new to me, only for a week now. if it were my sinusitis, then why i did not have the twitching before?

I googled 'sensation in right temple caused by sound in left ear' and ended up here.
I am 35 and was just realising that I have had this problem for about 10 years now. I went to the doctors 3 or 4 times about it when it first started happening and they looked at me like I was making it up which is never a good feeling. Since then I've just lived with it and tried to forget about it. Good news is im still alive 10 years later. Bad news is it hasn't stopped!!
What I have realised though is that it happens with sound and quite bizarrely, it happens in my right temple when I am lying on my right hand side and sound is only getting in my left ear. It's so annoying because if I'm watching something in bed, say on a laptop I have to make sure I'm positioned so that the sound is more on my right side and then it stops. It's weird AF! Does anybody else feel that theirs is affected by sound?
I actually have a doctors appointment this morning as I have been getting vertigo recently and i feel like it's all connected. I have suffered with a clicky jaw that seizes and cracks for years now. Apparently that's because I grind my teeth at night but I'm pretty sure I don't, another Dr said I open my mouth too wide!!
I live in the UK so fortunately (for the time being) we have free healthcare. My plan today is to ask to be referred for a scan to check there's nothing dangerous going on in there. I feel pretty sure there isn't considering it's been going on so long now. It's just extremely irritating. Anyway, it's a slight relief to see that other people experience it too and I'm not the only one!

Hi I have had the temple spasms for a few months now. They switch sides but never twitch at the same time. It really scares me and can't seem to find anything about it on the internet besides people feeling the same thing. i have seen two different doctors about it. The first one felt around my face and had me do balancing tests and said it is probably just stress and prescribed me muscle relaxers and said I could ice it. The second doctor said they never heard of that before and not sure why that would be happening and asked if I had anxiety. Like I can see it twitch in the mirror when I am having a flare up and can feel it. It comes and goes but is really scary when I have them. Really wish I could get some answers and get it to go away!

Hi same here went and had an MRI and either they lied or they just didn't find anything asked a neurologist he said it wasn't Temple Arteritis since I was too young for that. Do any of you experience this when you take certain brands of Tylenol or Paracitamol? I may be allergic since it happens most when I take a certain brand, also when I lay down on that side of my head I suddenly feel the temple artery fluttery or pulsating rapidly, Im scared Im going to go blind or there is a blockage. THERE IS NO INFORMATION ONLINE ABOUT THIS
