same here. same symptom - twitching on my left temple, no pain, just involuntary twitching. i have chronic sinusitis for years now, it may be the cause, but the twitching is new to me, only for a week now. if it were my sinusitis, then why i did not have the twitching before?

I've had this same for over 6 months now and I thought it was related to my neck vertebrae being out. But it's been going on even though I've had MRIs and rays and x-rays. Does anyone a solution yet?

I googled 'sensation in right temple caused by sound in left ear' and ended up here.
I am 35 and was just realising that I have had this problem for about 10 years now. I went to the doctors 3 or 4 times about it when it first started happening and they looked at me like I was making it up which is never a good feeling. Since then I've just lived with it and tried to forget about it. Good news is im still alive 10 years later. Bad news is it hasn't stopped!!
What I have realised though is that it happens with sound and quite bizarrely, it happens in my right temple when I am lying on my right hand side and sound is only getting in my left ear. It's so annoying because if I'm watching something in bed, say on a laptop I have to make sure I'm positioned so that the sound is more on my right side and then it stops. It's weird AF! Does anybody else feel that theirs is affected by sound?
I actually have a doctors appointment this morning as I have been getting vertigo recently and i feel like it's all connected. I have suffered with a clicky jaw that seizes and cracks for years now. Apparently that's because I grind my teeth at night but I'm pretty sure I don't, another Dr said I open my mouth too wide!!
I live in the UK so fortunately (for the time being) we have free healthcare. My plan today is to ask to be referred for a scan to check there's nothing dangerous going on in there. I feel pretty sure there isn't considering it's been going on so long now. It's just extremely irritating. Anyway, it's a slight relief to see that other people experience it too and I'm not the only one!

Hi I have had the temple spasms for a few months now. They switch sides but never twitch at the same time. It really scares me and can't seem to find anything about it on the internet besides people feeling the same thing. i have seen two different doctors about it. The first one felt around my face and had me do balancing tests and said it is probably just stress and prescribed me muscle relaxers and said I could ice it. The second doctor said they never heard of that before and not sure why that would be happening and asked if I had anxiety. Like I can see it twitch in the mirror when I am having a flare up and can feel it. It comes and goes but is really scary when I have them. Really wish I could get some answers and get it to go away!

This makes me feel at ease because I've had a terrible sinus problem going on the last week so I'm hoping that's just related

I've had twitches like this for about 18 years... they come and go in spells on certain parts of the body, sometimes for weeks at a time. At first it was just my left chest muscles - then it started happening in my legs (literally from hip to ankle sometimes!). Now it happens anywhere, including temples. At first I was worried but it happens so often I'm just used to it and weirdly quite enjoy the sensation. A while ago I read that it may be an iron deficiency but i've not tested for that because it doesn't bother me negatively. There are no other symptoms or issues, or at least none that I would think relate (perhaps stress, but I haven't been stressed for the whole 18 years of it happening). One thing is that, although I keep good health, when it started, I had stopped playing sport regularly - so maybe exercise might help.

Me too. It's like a twitchy throb in my right temple towards the back. I'm a bit of a worry wort so I was afraid it was something like a warning sign of an stroke or aneurysm. Idk.

I've had it for almost 2 years. My dr thinks it's neurological and not related to my sinuses. Going to see a neurologist soon. I hate this

I have the same symptoms on and off for five years. It doesn't appear to be serious, just extremely annoying.

Hi same here went and had an MRI and either they lied or they just didn't find anything asked a neurologist he said it wasn't Temple Arteritis since I was too young for that. Do any of you experience this when you take certain brands of Tylenol or Paracitamol? I may be allergic since it happens most when I take a certain brand, also when I lay down on that side of my head I suddenly feel the temple artery fluttery or pulsating rapidly, Im scared Im going to go blind or there is a blockage. THERE IS NO INFORMATION ONLINE ABOUT THIS

Haha so much truth to this. I'm in the same pickle. An inch above my left ear I get this twitching feeling here and there. No pain just bugs. I also feel like I have a lot of congestion in my nose and my sinus cavity also pulses. It's so annoying but it has not gone away. It's been like 2.5 months already. Doctor only said it's congestion but I've been taking Sudafed for so long and nothing.

I’ve been gluten free for 5 yrs as well as dairy, sugar & yeast free. That’s not the problem. I’ve had spasms & twitching for almost a year. Severe. I’ve been to tons of Dr.’s.. Naturopaths included, nobody can diagnosis this. I have hypo thyroid & hoshimotos disease which are well controlled. I’ve been to everyone i can think of....Endocrinologist, 2 PC doctors, 2 neurologists, 2 naturopaths, 1 gastro dr did colonoscopy & endoscopy, I’ve also had tons of blood work, MRI’s of Chest, brain, spine.. nobody can figure this out. Finally getting epilepsy testing next week. Ive been tested for all the initial auto immune diseases, but will test further for MS, Lupus, & others degenerative muscle/nerve diseases if the epilepsy testing doesn’t reflect anything.
