Unexplained Bleeding during 2nd trimester

Hello,

I am 29 weeks and 5 days, due March 21, 2018. I have been bleeding my entire pregnancy. Now when I say that even doctors says well that’s not possible. But I have kept a log since even before I conceived because I always had issues with my period being heavy I liked to keep track of things.
At the beginning they even mistook the bleeding for a miscarriage. I knew they were wrong and got retested a week later and was for sure still pregnant. They chalked things upto implantation bleeding at the beginning, then changes in the cervix and possibly a polyp. Never a definite answer.
I have been to many ultrasounds. Each time things are great. Baby is healthy and strong and has good amniotic fluid. I have had my hemoglobin checked and the glucose test done and everything has been great. My blood pressure is good and baby’s heart rate has always been good.
I recently passed about 3 medium sized clots. For me that’s about the size of a nickel compared to the usual small ones. I do get a lot of pelvic pain but my baby is sitting very low. Head down, right in my pelvis. Up until last week I had marginal placenta previa. It was right on the edge at 23-24 weeks and is now resolved and far enough away I shouldn’t have to have a cesarean.
But because I have been bleeding from the start the doctor said the bleeding shouldn’t be from the previa. Also no signs of placental abruption.
So now I am a little stuck, I am still bleeding. I have a sit down full time job, so I’m not super active. I also don’t exercise because I do find that increases the bleeding.
I wanted to share my experience so far and I will come back to check on this thread again and share my final experiences. I notice no one really comes back and I hope to help others if things so smoothly for me. I should also mention I am a first timer, no previous pregnancies, or misscarriages. I don’t have endometriosis, or an abnormally shaped uterus. (I have been tested before)

I have been bleeding since I was 15 weeks! I am currently 21 weeks 3 days! For the last week I've been heavy bleeding with large clots. The biggest one today was the size of my palm. I have low levels of fluids. They are not sure if I broke my sac or not. The OB says they can't do anything to help me until I am 24 weeks. I feel my hospital is very uncompassionate about the whole situation. I hope someone who has had similar issues had great out comes can reply. I will keep everyone updated the best I can.

I had a miscarriage 6 months before this pregnancy which ended at around 10 weeks..symptoms we're spotting from 7 week onwards no explanation was given all the cervical exams and vaginal scans made bleeding worse and I lost my baby..I was told it could be chromosomal abnormality which caused the misscarriage as it's first trimester loss...this time I was happy wen I reached 12 week mark without any issues but soon started spotting same way like how it happened before ..again no explanation for the bleeding..nipt test has shown very low risk for chromosomal abnormalities currently am 15 weeks occasionally spotting.. 2 days back I had a gush of blood..again they cannot find a reason what is causing the bleed and baby is doing gud with hb 141... Am on bed rest I think that's the only way I can stop bleeding any kind of minimal activity is triggering bleeding and spotting.. nervous and scared am waiting for my anatomy scan and seqnom part 2 test which is coming up in 10 days..

Hi i am 15 weeks and had bleeding since week 7 from brown to pink. They could find nothing on ultrasound. Then enter week 12 and bam! Heavy bleeds with clots. Went in weekly to OB and they found nothing but a healthy baby and heartbeat. My high risk Dr (I am 46) was also stating nothing was found. Here comes week 14/15 and I am passing even larger clots from golf ball to my hand size! And the bleeding doesn’t stop. How can it be that no one finds a single thing. Not sure how to plan my life. Being on bedrest fully would need a plan. More importantly, is this baby ok? No cramping really-and great chromosomal tests for this baby girl. I pray I am not losing her for a reason that is something someone is missing. Help

I have also had unexplained bleeding and I am 13 weeks pregnant. I have been so worried that I am losing my baby. But the ultrasound was fine my cervix was closed and. I agree this is the first place where there seems to be more than first term bleeding , it does help to know that it happens to others. And they were fine.
