I started taking birth control on the first day of my period (saturday, the 16th), and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex 7 days later (saturday, the 23rd) and also on the 8th day (24th). My boyfriend pulled out way before he said he was going to ejaculate, and I have continued to take my birth control pills religiously every day. (I take Natazia, by the way). I know the pamphlet said to use protection for the first 9 days, so I have been very paranoid about the possibility of being pregnant, so I bought Plan B (48 hours later) and continued to take my birth control pills. Should I be very concerned about this or not?
Also, I have been getting cramps lately, this might be my birth control but I am just worried about being pregnant. Please help!

Hi twin,

Did you use the Plan B?  Even if not, I think it unlikely you are pregnant if,there was no precum, or he had not ejaculated before having sex and there was precum.  Do you know when you ovulate, it may have been a bit early to get pregnant too.

Just be aware there is always a chance.  Even when taken daily birth control is not 100% effective.

The cramps could be from your pills although it is not a listed side effect in my drug reference.  Check with your doctor if they persist.
