Unusual Swelling below belly...

lower abdominal swelling, together with strong pain especially before or around the time of your period are two very important signs that there might be something wrong with your ovaries or uterus. At this point, your ovaries should have released an egg that can be fertilized and the tissue of your uterus is swollen and ready to either start falling apart causing your period - or to accept fertilized egg.

Now, most common problem that would cause symptoms like yours are the ovarian cysts or pelvic inflammatory disease. There really is nothing shameful about either of those so please talk to your mom and don't be scared to see a doctor - it could make a world of difference,
