Look up abdominal migraine! I have same symptoms too except with committing and diaherra! I was diagnosed in abdominal miagraine hope this helps

I've been having the same issue, keep a food journal and have noticed that it's the worst when I've been eating a lot of gluten. And that sore stomach thing is a common symptom for a gluten allergy. Not sure why it would only happen during period time, but I'm going to try giving up gluten for a month and see if that works.

I have been GF for 2 years and this issue just started for me 4 months ago. I had a gluten sensitivity test done and it was negative, so I really hope going GF helps you!

I am so sorry this many people are dealing with this issue. I am currently not moving anywhere from my couch because my upper abdomen hurts so bad. I am going to the Dr. in the morning. I really hope I can get some answers because this pain is impossible. I have a history of uterine cysts, but they didn't feel like this.

Did you ever get this sorted? I have symptoms like yours (previous cysts, but not like this; one ovary already removed). Pain from Upper abdomen down to rectum, constipation, shooting sciatic pain. Could this all be fibroid related? I'm missing about 4 days every month from the pain. Can't even sit comfortably. Went to ER and they Dx diverticulitis but that can't be right; this is cyclical/hormonal and not lower left side pain (all over, esp below breast line) TIA hope you are feeling better

I am having this also. I think I have a UTI but the area I am hurting is 2-3 inches above my belly button. I hurt like this a few days before my period but this time it is different. Motrin usually helps but is doing nothing. I am worried because my gyno found abnormal cells on my cervix. But this pain isn't anywhere near my cervix. I have to go in two weeks to have a biopsy done. I don't know if this is related or not. Does anyone know? TIA

The exact same thing happened to me, I was put on Clomid for 3 months after unexplained infertility. When it didn't work, the dose was doubled for 3 months. That is when these pains started, that was 10 months ago.
My periods are very abnormal now, I start spotting about 3 days before period, then 1-2 very light days, then almost nothing, then pain starts and the same day period gets very very heavy and lasts for 2-3 days with extreme pain in upper abdomen and upper back. Then suddenly period is completely gone, and my stomach is sore for another from the extreme pain it has had to endure.
I am almost 100% sure it was caused by the Clomid but neither my primary doctor nor my OBGYN believes me, they dismiss me like its not anything to worry about. Honestly the only doctor who has taken me seriously is my new acupuncturist, she is trying to help me, I have gone to her for a month now and praying that by 3 months it will start getting better. If it does I will come back and let everyone know. I feel very alone in this because it seems no one around me has experienced it and I don't know where to go for answers...
