I know its been a year, and hopefully you've gotten answers since, but regardless, maybe this comment will help other women.
If they did a laparoscopic surgery on you to find endo, the doctors CAN NOT know. Its the only way to know. There is a lot of misinformation and ignorance about endo and its comorbid conditions, even in the medical field - at the cost of women's quality of life and sometimes sanity. That may not be what happened with you, but if you have all the symptoms and doctors refuse to explore the possibility and cannot solve the cause of your pain, then they may be dismissing and marginalizing you. I had endo for at least 18 years before diagnosis and that was only after I proved 4 years of infertility, because I'm not important - only my ability to procreate is. The average wait for diagnostic tests is 8 years. Sadly, it is incredibly common for doctors to diminish endo pain and women living with it. Best of luck.

It seems that the cure for these ailments are more gruesome and yield worse problems than the original ones. Go back to natural remedies. I suffer each month as well. If they tell me to have surgery I tell them no. I use discernment and I pray to God for intelligence. I endure the pain every month and I utilize holistic remedies. I use a heating pad, ginger and greens to relieve pain and inflammation. Baths with very hot water, drink ample water. Rest as best as possible in comfortable pajamas and do not use tampons but rather sanitary pads. Its not easy, but I get through it . those things help but I am in agony and feel tortured, but without those things I feel as if I could die from the pain. I have passed out a few times. Of course if someone is in dire need of medical procedures due to immanent death then have surgery other wise there is a saying " if you want die, then go to a hospital". Medicine these days is just as it was in the dark ages: barbaric and backwards for the most part. God has gifted everyone with the Holy Ghost, but its up to people to ask God to speak to them through His Holy Spirit. Don't trust Man, trust God. ask Him for the answers.....sometimes you may absolutely need a procedure , but often you do Not.

I've been experiencing similar symptoms for several months. It doesn't come w every menstrual cycle, but when I do have the pain, it lasts for days. Most of my symptoms point towards endometriosis. I see a new gynecologist next week as my current one never does anything for me.

I just had an ultrsound. Confirmed i have a cyst on my ovary that looks to have recently ruptured. The doc says this could be a hemorrhagic cyst or endometrioma. Most likely, due to it recurring every month, its endometrioma. She is treating me with birth control pills for next 2 mos, then will check ultrasound to see if its resolved.

That's what they told me. It is a cyst but what kind of cyst hurts for 13 years. It's like she said a gnawing pain around the right side of my bellybutton. It shows up right after my period and it is painful for a week or two then goes away. It hurts so bad. It really does. Thanks ladies this helped me.

Hello! I'm having the same type of pains...been having them for 5 years now. It started suddenly before my period..it feels like extreme abdominal muscle pain on the right side sometimes over my belly button...it starts a day or two before my period..hurts if I flex my abs, laugh, cough , sneeze etc...I had laporoscopy 3 years ago to look for Endo but none was found and I'm still in pain. ..an ultrasound done a few months ago showed "ring of fire" around my ovary on that side and I'm waiting to see the obgyn again...this pain is so horrible and it's even worse to not know what is going on. ..I take Motrin, sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. :( I also get bloating and gas really bad with the pain sometimes.

Hi my pain is very similar to what you described. I did learn that I have 2 fibroids, but my dr said they’re only about an inch and that probably wouldn’t cause this pain. Did removing yours relieve the pain? She’s sending me to a GI doctor
