I had a TT 20 years ago. I'm 61 years old now and have gained about 35 lbs in the last 10 years. I have gained all over but my upper stomach is out of proportion and I thought I had a tumor. It helps to see I'm not the only one. I never gained weight in that area before.

From about 10 days after,I noticed this upper tummy bulge which keeps on becoming bigger & bigger.
Dr says he doesn't have any answer.

Try Coolsculpting. It will eliminate the upper belly fat with no down time, no surgery, no scars. I've done it to eliminate the upper belly fat we're talking about.
I had a tummy tuck and liposuction 10 years ago. They removed the fat on my lower belly and my upper belly continued to get fatter and fatter. I went to the same surgeon to see if I could get a revision and he said that it was impossible to lipo that area because of my ribs.
Coolsculpting was the solution. After two treatments the fat roll on my upper tummy is gone.
I highly recommend it.

This is what I can say about the surgery. Healing from a full tummy tuck is going to take quite a while. I was told that my surgery and my healing were actually quite normal/better than average, so I am not an outlier.
I had a lot of swelling and what seemed to be bloating that went on for months and months after the surgery. Easily over a year. It was hard not to get depressed at that time, because I was expecting a wonderful smooth stomach… Instead I was swollen and bloated.
Once the swelling finally went away, I was left with two bulges, one on each side (this is after having the dog ears removed). I also still suffer with a bloated upper abdomen, although I am starting to question some gut dysbiosis (SIBO), and I am currently ready to undertake treatment for that. This could explain the abdominal bloating… I don’t know.
The one thing I can tell you is this… After you have had a full tummy tuck and the accompanying liposuction that they normally do… Do not under any circumstance allow yourself to gain weight If you can possibly help it. Liposuction actually removes fat cells, so you will not regain the weight in the areas that were liposuctioned… BUT - that fat is going to go somewhere, and you will end up with unsightly bulges and bumps and a very odd looking figure.
I had my surgery to get rid of some loose skin after losing 125 pounds… If I had to do it again, knowing what I know now… I don’t know if I would do it. I have been left with a much larger upper body (and I’m not talking about boobage). I now have a waist that is huge in relation to my hips and also tend to carry more back fat and fat on the upper arms than I did before. I have also developed fat pads at my inner thighs that I was never pre-disposed to before.
Unless you are 110% certain that you will not regain any weight that you have previously lost, think long and hard about this surgery. You could just end up looking worse post surgery then you did before.
