For almost a week my right inner labia was extremely inflammed and painful.....finally that past when it could swell no more and burst (soory for the details!0 anyway after this I now have a 'frozen' right shoulder and neck up to the base of my skull.....is there a connection? Is it just a side affect from the pain of my labia (my body having to be in a different position to walk etc...and the tension of the pain?) or is it something to do with herpes?

The pain in your labia sounds like a bartholen's cyst. It is very painful, and you usually feel immediate releif when it finally "bursts". You should see a gynecologist about this. They can help! Don't be embarrassed either, they've seen these a million times. Way more common than you think! I've had these twice and boy are they painful! I'm not sure if your back/neck pain is related, but I do remember having to sit, walk, lay VERY carefully to cope withe the pain of the cyst. So it makes sense you may've kinked your back/muscles to compensate. Hope this helps other people!
