I woke up this morning with a very dry hacking cough that brings up mucus , very sore throat. Took my temp 98.1 normal, as the day progessed my cough got more frequent and my chest now burns from breathing as does my throat. 

Glads seem a little swollen, louder breathing than normal, my throat is really bothering me.... as is my upper chest... tried to get in to see the doc before the weekend they are booked and was told to take otc.... not that i didnt attack with this in the morning. no change or releif with otc... 

any other imput or remidies.
