I had a Shingles vac two years and unlike most vacs it was painful. Since then I have a recurring rash from sides of my waist to the back. It itches but not to the extent that I scratch it. The rash feels rough to the touch and takes the form of small spots mainly pale red. They do not weep and are fairly uniformly separated over the whole ares. My doctor gave me some cream (Zero base emollient ).but did not have any effect.
