The same thing is happening to me.  I am seeing my doctor tonight.  I am finding a lot of posts about this issue but it's annoying because no one follows up to say what their result/solution was.

My partner was fingering me and I felt a sudden pain (felt like a nail scratching me) I stopped immediately, no blood, swelling on right labia majora, discolouration, stiffness.  The labia then became a dark colour (I am brown skinned so you can really tell if it is purple).   Swelling went down after two days but I can feel discomfort a week later when I am sitting in certain positions. Physically when I feel down there, under the labia majora, I feel stiffness.  I did not have any burning sensations when urinating or abnormal discharge. I was on vacation at the time and was only able to go see an urgent care doctor 5 days later at which point I was two days into my period.  She said she couldnt see any abnormalities by looking at the external parts (swelling had reduced by now) but would have to wait until my period was gone to examine further.  Going to see my family doctor in about 3 hours. I will provide update this evening.
