This is chronic pelvic pain syndrome. There are many different symptoms and some people have just a couple and some have many of them. But we all have chronic pelvic pain syndrome. There are conflicting theories on what exactly it is or what causes it, but i believe the oral triggered something in all of us that we were predisposed to. Thing that sucks is there doesn't seem to be a cure, only treatments that seem to be minimally sucsessful. I bought the book Headache In The Pelvis on recommendation, what a scam. It is so vague and offers nothing of real substance. The guy even offers a 6 day clinic for $4,200 which has gotten bad reviews and has been called a scam by some that attended. But I am positive this is what we all have, chronic pelvic pain syndrome/chronic non bacterial prostatitis.

Had a long appointment with a Rheumotologist yesterday and she has diagnosed me with Rieter's syndrome pending blood tests and xrays. She wasn't sure how the unprotected oral sex impacted this but said it could be NGU or prostatatis caused by mycroplasma. People with Rieter's/Reactive arthritis are more succeptable to these types of urinary infection. Not much to do about it in terms of treatment besides meds to manage the discomfort.

Weren't you tested for NGU and given antibiotics that would have eliminated it? Also, did she specify what type of prostatitis?

But pain management wouldn't really do much of anything except manage pain, right?

And to anyones knowledge there is nothing we can do to get rid of it? Also can this be spread to someone we're interested in if we want to start dating again?

yeah pain management would only manage the pain but if your anything like me, the pain is so unbearable i can't even live anymore. severe burning in my urethra, bladder, prostate swollen, sore testicles, burning after urination, urinating 40 times a day, 15 times a night, id give anything just to not be in pain any more. and I'm starting to think that person who said earlier about mycoplasma genitalium earlier was on to something. it takes 6-8 weeks to test for it after the sample has been collected and i know my labs haven't done that. also, there are strands of it that are resistant to azythromicin and doxy. the only one they aren't resistant to is moxifloxacin. if moxi doesn't clear whatever this is, then it is definitely not bacterial. but I'm desperate id try it even with the side effects.

Yeah I've tested negative to all that stuff before and I've had these symptoms for over 2 years with no one being able to diagnose me.. I've taken almost all of the antibiotics and none of them provided me any relief so I'm thinking it's not bacterial either.. Also when I tell the doctors the ONLY way I could have gotten this ws through receiving oral sex, they all look at me like I'm crazy and most of them say they don't see how that's really possible and EXTREMELY unlikely.

Did you take moxifloxacin?

hey there, new guy here. About 2 years ago I noticed some redness on the head of my penis after having unprotected sex (and oral sex). I thought nothing of it for the first few days but then realized it will not go away. I went to the doctor and he said it was just a yeast infection and gave me some cream. I used that but it didn't work. Fast forward 6 months later where I still have the issue but havent returned to the doctor. Finally I say enough is enough and go back to the doctor and he yet again prescribes more cream. This time, it seems like it kind of works but then after 2 weeks of using it is becomes clear it is not working again. During this time I was starting to feel like I had to urinate a lot more... and I was having trouble masturbating because of this frequent need to urinate. One day I was masturbating and felt the need to pee while erect but fapped through it and when I came I felt immense pain while cumming and directly after felt like I was going to pee myself. After that, for the last year I've had this weird feeling in my urthera (almost like an itchyness, or small ball suck in there at the base) and the redness on my penis is still there. Everytime I urinate it doesnt feel like I got everything out, and when I move afterwards I can feel a drip or two still stick in my urethera The doctor has done all STD tests and they all came out negative. He said I probably have protititis and gave me Apo-oflox 300mg and I took it for 2 weeks. This didn't work. He has referred me to a urologist but it is a decently long waiting list so It will take a couple months... Ive been suffering with this for a long time and my life is basically ruined because of it. It's so awful.

How long after the encounter did it take for symptoms to appear? And do you have any pain or is it just an annoyance?

The redness appeared the following morning. Having to pee frequently was off and on, so I just attributed that to being sick. But now it is constant, and the feeling of something "stuck" in there is constant too. I feel pins & needles type pain for 2-3 seconds POST urination, and I also feel lots of pressure in my entire pelvic region at times. My testicles will randomly hurt from time to time too, though it goes away quickly.

I have had similar symptoms on multiple occasions. The first time was like most here unprotected oral. Now the girl was a questionable one, but I never tested because the tingling sensation at the tip came almost immediately after, I would say about an hour later. It did not hurt to touch felt itchy and felt like I have to pee a few drops. It doesn’t hurt when I pee or ejaculate either (well maybe very very light itchy feeling). That was few years ago and every so often with unprotected oral even with legit partners and not just questionable ones lol, it happens with same symptoms and I feel it very quickly. Now I will say I have never been tested, because to me the symptoms appear way to fast and it usually goes away anywhere from couple days to a month later and a more permanent partner had herself tested multiple times with me and is always negative. This though brings me to last night same thing happened again and very quickly after the oral. So I got fed up and been doing crazy research but I am coming up empty. So I thought of this. Since this doesn’t happen to all guys after unprotected oral do any of you guys think most of us who felt this after oral and are negative with everything just have a more sensitive urethra at the tip of our penis? And that it is kind of sore after all of that sucking action? I wonder because it doesn’t happen every time but mostly after oral with a lot more sucking action than normal. Let me know if anyone have thought of this or think it could be a legit reason. Thanks

To be honest I can't remember.. I've taken so many antibiotics that to be sure I'd have to go look through all my papers to see if I did or not.. Also after taking so many, I stopped writing down which ones I was taking.. I've taken pretty much every known antibiotic for this kind of stuff and NOTHING gave me even slight relief. Why do you ask?

Hi guys,

One more victim of this sh*t here. My story is exactly the same, unprotected oral and protected sex, its happened four months ago. I have the same symptoms, but I started feeling the burning in my urethra pretty much on the same day. I've read all 14 pages and I'm telling you guys that this thing has nothing to do with a prostatitis. I was diagnosed prostatitis one year ago and it started from abdominal pain and also pain and discomfort from anus to testicles, so I do know exactly what the prostatitis is. So four months ago I got this unprotected oral and the nightmare started from there. This time lower abdominal pain was something similar to prostatitis pain but the pain in between my legs was totally different. It was the cutting pain. Also, I have this readness around urethra on the tip of my penis which hurts pretty badly. All tests were negative as well. So guys I wish us to figure out what the hell is going on soon. Also the weird thing is that there is no solution on other forums, but the earliest message I saw so far was dated by 2005, so the infection(or virus) is not that new as we think. Taking antibiotics now, but it doesn't work...no idea what to do.

Hey I read your post. What are your exact symptoms and if you can remember what was the order from which they started to affect you after oral sex with the girl. Did you contact her and see what she said? Did she get tested etc..
