This is OnlyRegrets. I went to see an std specialist and he did a physical check on me and said he's almost 100% certain it's not herpes so he refused the blood test. I saw the urologist and she did a prostate exam. She diagnosed me with nonbacterial prostatitis. The worst part about this is that I'm talking to a new girl and I don't want to give her anything when it becomes sexual. My pcm, urologist, and std specialist all said it's not herpes. I even brought up how it can be asymptomatic but I was ensured after many checks that by now it would've physically manifested itself. Idk if I can sleep on that.

I don't think its HSV or HPV going on with us either. Honestly Id much rather it were, because at the moment it's just one big question mark and I don't know how to even live anymore my life's been so affected. I wrote a few days ago that I think it's non bacterial prostatitis too. Did they give you anything to "treat" it and what did they say the next steps are?

They did prescribe me 2 things but I haven't been able to hit the pharmacy yet. I'll let you guys know the names tomorrow. They all swear up and down its not an STD so it makes me feel better but, at the same time, this is kinda ruining my life.

Do any of you guys notice a slight horseshoe shaped inflammation around the urethral opening? Also, do any of you guys experience joint pain leading up this?

My urethral meatus (the opening) does seem to be slightly inflamed (raw looking)? My tests came back negative. I'm trying to get referred to a urologist. So hopefully that happens soon. I also hope it's not HPV or hsv. That would really suck. I've been thinking prostisis or maive urethritis ? If you guys get the tingle still try AZO UTIs ( it's over the counter). Helped a lot. Any other new leads? And least you guys don't have what looks like a lesion on the Inside of your urethra :(

Pain management is like injections and medication things like that. I think I am going to try that next and an orthopedic dr I think looks for problems in the spine that could be causing referred pain. Im not sure but I have an appointment with one soon that I am positive will yield no results but i was just wondering if you saw one. Pain management is definitely high on my priority list. I don't care if I have to go once every month to get a shot, if it can make this pain go away Id do anything. But im going to get a referral for that tomorrow from my dr.

Guys, have any of you experienced arthritis/aches and pains in joints. There are several Rheumotolical conditions that can cause these symtoms (Rieters, Behsets, Sjogrens). I have also been dealing with wide spread pain so I am seeing a Rheumotologist this week. Let me know
