My GP said to wait until after the New Year to see if it's still an issue... Hmmm, wonder if it was his meat if he would want to wait... I'm tired of seeing Doctors, I get poorer, and I'm really not seeing any results. Would like at least a diagnosis this way I can at least know what the hell I'm dealing with.
Frustrating as all hell, but I'm the stubborn type...
Going to try your suggestion of hydrocortisone 1% + Miconazole 2% cream.

Some update: while i was putting it, the hydrocortysone really helped. However, DONT PUT IT TOO MUCH OR FOR TOO LONG. After 3 weeks of application i had a scary reaction, my glans and foeskin became dry and thick, i coule not retract the foresking, it was super scary. I put some moisturizing cream and now it s back to normal (still havethe previous itching of course). I am not goong to use the hydrocortisone anymoee, as it is only a momentary help and can have scary aide effect. You have been warned, but do as you feel :) (remember that the hydrocort was prescribed by a gp, was not my idea!).
I have speeded up the specialist appointment, i am going tgere on tuesday. I will certainly let you know.

I had that feeling too after oral sex. I got a Rx for diflucan as it is a yeast infection. Putting antifungal cream for athletes foot or Lotrimin Ultra helps too.

Come with:
1) Miconazole Nitrate 4% per applicator
2) Miconazole Nitrate 2% Cream for exterior.
Now, I know, weird, but if this is some sore of weird yeast/fungal infection, what the hell.

- Tube are supposed to be a 3 day thing, 1x per day

Hello, my case started with sleeping with a friend, i fell asleep, she was drunk and passed out, she somehow at some point had her underwear removed, and i woke up at some point spooning her with a slight boner that had jiggled out from my boxers, and so there was genital skin contact, either way, did not penetrate, just penis leaning on her lips. problems started in about few days, with slight burning feeling while peeing, discharge under foreskin, super itchy red glans and red ring on the foreskin, now and then some squees in either one balls, no urethra discharges. Went to doctor, tested for hiv, chlamydia, gonorrhea, did return negative. did inspect a bot and said everythibg looks fine, no signs of herpes or anything else either, just having a balanitis going on, got 1 yeast pill (flukonatsol) and some caliumpermanganate pills what have to do some dipping baths with . 1 month went by, ichiness completely over, redness also gone 90%. still having all the others above, and as a new and latest add, the urethra openin is swollen and quite red, and tingles inside of urethra. Went to do second run std test again, still negative. now have had this for 4 months. only differ seems to be, i did not got any blowjob, nor penetration, just maybe some vaginal fluids in contact.

My condition is slightly improving. I stopped using any cream after a bad reaction I had with the hydrocortison/steroid cream. I still have a bad irritation after peeing.
I went to a very famous dermatologist-venerologist in Italy, and he said that I have a "sclerotic frenulum", meaning that the frenulum is not allowing blood to pass, bringing irritation and swelling (yes, my frenulum is indeed swollen and red). I am not sure, but he is really a big expert in the area, and was absolutely sure about it.
The solution in this case would be frenuloplasty (cutting the frenulum) which is a minor operation.
Strange thing is: in my 8 months of suffering, no one ever suggested it, even if cirmucision (similar to frenuloplastic) is considered a typical solution for balanitis (however, watch out: balanitis is NOT a diagnosis, just a description of the symptoms, and NOT enough for knowing a treatment).
Anyway, during christmas holiday I am going back to Italy to meet another big expert in the area, in order to have a second opinion. He is another very well known dermatologist-venerologist, who wrote plenty of papers and several books. I am very optimistic now. In UK, where I live, there are no such knowledgeable doctors about these problem, unfortunately. Apparently here there is nothing such as dermatologist-venerologist specialization, and thus our problems are dealt by urologist which always point at prostatitis, even when no evidence is foudnm for that.
Anyway, once I got my second opinion I will decide if actually get the frenuloplasty. I will keep you updated.
Remember that for me, the hydrocortisone-steroid 1% cream helped, but it is not a definitive solution. I suggest you guys to try it, but BE CAREFUL. Use it only for 10 days, even if you don't see any strange reaction. For me the reaction was sudden, and very scary. Fortunately that went back to normal. Don't be as silly as me.

You CAN actually put both at the same time. Some creams are actually a combination of hidrocortisone and antifungal (the miconazole you already have).
You can generally put as much miconazole as you want, having strange reaction out of it is extremely unusual. You should be more careful with the hydrocortsione, as I wrote above.
You don't need to buy the combination cream. If you already have the miconazole, my advice is to get also some hydrocortisone, and use it SPARSELY, twice a day.
--QUESTION: do you notice that your problem get worst just after urinating?

I did not use the hydrocortisone cream. I wanted to use 1 thing at a time to check for any reactions.
I used the miconazole nitrate cream 2% for 2 weeks 2x a day. The first 2 days it made a big difference, like instant relief, then after using in towards the end the meatus felt a little funny, Once I was done, it now seems a whole lot better, almost like normal now. But there was more, read on.
Once I started using it, the issue was greatly reduced, and that got me to thinking: I'm treating the meatus as if it's a separate part of my body, so every time I stopped all these other things, it really never cleared up and then returned. So I decided to treat the entire area, meatus, head, shaft , scrotum, inner thighs since I now believe this is some sort of fungal / yeast / etc that is in that entire area, and if you don't treat the whole area, the issue will return. So here is what I did:
1. - Applied miconazole nitrate cream 2% (vaginal antifungal) for 2 weeks on meatus and entire head, make sure you lay some right into the crack like grout between tiles
2. - Applied Terbinafine Hydrocloride Cream 1% (Antifungal Cream) to entire shaft from head down, and also on entire testicles
3. - Applied tolnaftate (Anti Fungal Powder spray) to inside of thighs right up to crease by testicles and from behind testicles into crack of buttocks and around cheeks of buttocks
To sum it all up:
- Miconazole nitrate cream Monistat Women's Anti Fungal Cream, powder version is Lotrimin AF Powder... I recommend the cream version, or store version, Walgreens, etc
Applied to entire head and crack of meatus
- Anti Fungal / Jock Itch Cream - Lamisile AT (Terbinafine Hydrocloride Cream ), or store version, Walgreens, etc)
Applied to entire shaft and testicles
- Tolnaftate (Anti Fungal Powder spray) - Tinactin Powder Spray,or store version, Walgreens, etc
Applied to inner thighs into crease up until testicles, then apply from back of testicles up and into crack up buttocks and surrounding buttocks area.
So far so good, I really hope this helps, for me it's a huge relief so far.
Note: I'm circumcised, so the shaft is easier to treat for me, if you are uncircumcised you are going to have to figure out how to get that onto the shaft under the foreskin, maybe put some cream in a small cup of warm water (1 Table Spoon or so of water, a dab or 2 of cream),stir it up to make t more liquidly, and drip it down between the shaft and foreskin. The also apply that cream to the outside of the foreskin as well.
I've also started earing those chewable probiotics as well, like 4 billion in each gummy. Going after this multiple ways...

Pleased to announce... So Far So Good...I've stopped everything except the powdered spray on inside of inner thighs and surrounding areas.
I believe in my case the irritation was caused by some sort of weird fungal or yeast issue, etc.
Weird part is it did not manifest as such. I can't explain it but for my issue it worked.
1. Never had a burning urination or anything red, scaly, itchy, etc.
2. Just a pain or irritation at the tip of the penis, meatus, and what seemed like the very tip of the urethra.
3. Did not have sex but had a massage at a Chinese massage parlor.
4. No "Happy Ending", it was offered but I declined.
5. She used a lot of warm oil everywhere and on everything, did not let her near the tip of my penis but she did use that oil and massaged my testicles and surrounding area
5. Hot very moist towels to wipe me down
6. Dry towels to dry me off.
7. 2 - 3 days later the issue started.
As noted in prior posts, I've literally swallowed a pharmacies worth of antibiotics, was given shots and antibiotic creams and such, nothing really helped.

- No burring after urination
- Ingredients are in other Products for similar issues, just different locations, I decided to stuck with proximity products fro safety's sake... lol
- Yes I applied as described to the other areas since that is where a lot of those funguses take root and proliferate.
- I do believe this is some sort of fungal / yeast infection, they are EXTREMELY difficult to eliminate some times, I've had Jock that once that took 6months of various products and meds to kill. And if you have ever had it, it burns, especially on your inner thighs and creases, sound familiar???
Overall, still at 95%, but in a much better situation.
Will be trying the Miconazole Nitrate 4% cream on the meatus shortly to see if I can get this solution to 100%, This strength is for INSIDE the Vagina for 3 Days, so let's see what happens when applied to the meatus and opening..
I really want this to be a 100% solution for folks with my similar issue and hopefully at least help others.
