Weird Irritation of the Urethra

Hey guys. I know alot of us started having symptoms following oral sex. Now if this isnt a bacterial thing then it would have to be a virus right? This seems most likely to eithier be a new sti or a current sti like hsv or hpv that has genetically evolved as all viruses do. Now with that being said has anyone relayed this info to a doctor and tried to do a swab and look for this new virus? The first step to a solution would be to "discover" this thing and then experiment with some anti-viral medications. I am doing a second round of tests because my urologist has urged me too but when that shows up negative I am going to write a long letter to him and mention that there are literally thousands of guys having this same problem and noone can figure anything out. I will link him to the threads if needed.

Definitely sounds like this is some new type of hsv (herpes) infection. Has to be virus at this point I'm thinking. I'm going to a clinic Friday and my GP next week. Thinking some type of prostisis? Has anyone pain around there anus? How about redness of the srotum? I think I'm starting to get paranoid. So symptoms for me again are :slight puffy red urethral meatus, small pimple on the inside of urethral meatus with an scar looking vein down urethra, felt like discharge was coming out in the beginning (that had subsided), pin like prick down urethral /tingling sensation down urethra. So list of things I've read it could be: candida (yeast infection)- leading to something fungal, prostisis, urea plasma, cysts, kidney stone.

Yeah I have pain around my anus that's my most annoying symptom. Feels like a golf ball in my prostate.

Mystery you get that sharp prick like pain sometimes right? When it happens, is it after you urinate and is it in the mid to lower urethra? Or is it near where the head and shaft meet? Also, does acohal make it worse?

Hey guys, having the same issue.  I had unprotected oral from a girl I didn't know about 6 weeks ago.  She also rubbed her vagina on my penis, but no penetration.  Symptoms started 3 days later.  Constant urge to urinate.  Turned really painful in a few more days.  I've had severe pain in my urethra and testicles.  I've also had some weird pain in my bladder area.  All these symptoms have come and gone over the past 6 weeks.  Unlike you guys though, no pain at all in my prostate or anus areas and no feeling like a ball stuck up there.  I've been tested multiple times, everything is negative.  No discharge at all.  Went to a urologist who put me on 30 days of doxy for prostatitis.  He didn't do a physical exam, but just guessed based on my negative test results and symptoms.  I've been on doxy for 10 days now.  Mild improvement, but not 100%.  My guess is it's not prostatitis and my symptoms are going to flare up again, but we'll see.

Here's my biggest question.  Has anyone with this mystery pain had unprotected sex AFTER the symptoms showed up?  If so, did your partner show any symptoms after that?  I'm scared to death to resume sex with my partner because I don't want to give her this.

As someone else pointed out, ironically, we don't seem to be able to give this to others, but somehow someone else all gave to us by giving us oral. This all has me and all of the number of urologists I have seen very perplexed. When your symptoms flare down, how bad is the pain on a scale of 1 to 10? And how long does the "remission" last for?

I saw a post earlier where a dr told someone that it couldn't be passed on.  But not sure I trust that since dr's don't even know what this is.  I'm hoping somone can say they had unprocted sex while this was going on, and whether their partner had any symptoms.

For me, when the symptoms flare down, my pain is pretty much gone or maybe a 1 out of 10.  My symptoms seem to come on for about a week or so, and the pain can be like a 8 or 9 out of 10.  Then calm down for about a week.  So maybe gradually come on for a week, then gradually die down for a week.  But I've only been going through this for about 6 weeks.  How about you guys who have been going through this longer?

Normally it's not really the pain that hurts me because it's usually not "painful" it's more of a discomfort that is always there.. The only pain I really have is after masturbation if I do it for to long, the pain is debilitating, also sometimes the testicle pain (without masturbation) is so severe it's really painful and when I used to get that pin pricking sensation in the head of the penis that was really painful.. Other than that all my symptoms are just flat out annoying and I want them gone.

Have you had unprotected oral with your partner since? I am so freaked out ive been wearing a condom which sucks. I just dont know what to do the guilt is eating me alive.

I haven't done anything unprotected ever since this all started so I can't say.. I did ask my Dr and he said whatever is going on with me I can't pass "it" because I continually test negative for everything. If you have tested negative as well, I don't think you could pass anything along. Just makes this all the more puzzling becuase of we can't pass it, how did we get it.

Hey guys so I started and finished taking these OTC pills called AZO urinary pain relief I haven't had much discomfort since, I'd say I get a 5 second tingle once every two days it has helped greatly. But you can only take it for a couple days so hopefully I don't start up again. I continue to monitor my diet - no caffeine, no beer, no spicy foods, nothing with yeast etc. Again all this along with lots and lots of water helps so much. I have noticed that when my urine is darker I sense like something is going on in my urethra. Again no pain in my groin area nor my anus. Did develop what has been told to me as jock itch. Which freaking sucks. Question anyone have what looks like a lesion or noticeable vein leading to the urethral meatus that turns into some type of pimple or growth (I'd say the size of a pencil tip)? That's what's concerning me. Update with the doc. She said doesn't sound or look like herpes or gential warts etc. Waiting on the results for my test. And same I am afraid I could pass this onto my gf. But again. Seems like it only flares up in guys though I will say I've read a couple forums and threads where two women had developed our symptoms.

I really dont think this is bacterial because the antibiotics I took would have knocked it out. Viruses constanly manipulate and change so this could be some new form of herpes or even hpv or something we dont even know about thus cant test for. I wouldnt mind the tingle and soreness so much if I had piece of mind that I could resume my sex life with my partner. I am just going to keep wrapping it up and time will tell what is going on. All I have to say is we need to keep posting here no matter what.

I agree with you 100%.. If we can't pass it because of all the negative test results then how did we get it?? Maybe it's something that can only be passed from girl to guy, but not sure. I've had about 30 tests for everything and it's always been negative and I've been told the same stuff you have.

Can you post that forum with the girls posts here so we can seem them?

Has anyone tried the supplement AHCC with this? Supposely helps against viruses and can be effective against HPV.
