My husband and I had a lovely Christmas eve, if you know what I mean! I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated that month because I was so busy with the holidays I forgot to check! (however, AF started on December 10th) On the 3rd of January, I had a strange pinkish brownish membrane like thingie (sorry TMI!) followed by a day and a half of very light bleeding. This was early for my period, and there were no cramps or backache that usually accompany AF--AF usually lasts 5 days and is quite heavy. My cervix also stayed high and soft during the "period" which was quite odd. (What would cause this anyway??)

Since then, my lower back has been hurting, and my breasts have enlarged quite a bit and become harder and tender. Slight cramping, SO TIRED, and I even developed a strange desire for a fast-food roast beef sandwich (and only because I wanted the horseradish sauce!) o.O

I get flushed, light-headed and a bit dizzy. I have moderate nausea on and off, too. Oh, and my first migraine! Wasn't that a treat! 8-|

I home tested on the 6th of January and on the 7th of January. My "real" period was due on the 8th so I tested again on the 10th. These were all NEG.

I'm 24, I don't take any hormones, any birth control, and my cycles have usually been so regular that you could set the moon by them. I feel so tired and crappy, I know something must be up. It would be fantastic if it could be true, but three negatives don't generally lie.

So my questions:
1) What can cause swollen, tender breasts for an entire cycle? (to date)
2) What can cause the cervix to remain high and soft during menstruation and remain there for the entire cycle?
3) What can cause perma-PMS type symptoms?

Anything you can share about your experiences with any of these problems would be so great!
Did you ever find out what was going on with you? I know this was posted a while ago, but Im going through the same exact thing and can't figure out whats going on.
