im 25- sexually active with my BF. over the last 3 months i have "played" with my birth control to skip 2 periods...i was mid cycle of the third month and i had spotting, then a few days later i got my period. now, i have this weird white discharge--almost looks and feels like toilet paper, does NOT resemble cottage-cheese at all. at first i thoought it was just a piece of toilet paper...then it happened again. it does not occur often though...i have no itching, swelling or redness and the odor is normal. i have NEVER seen this kind of discharge before-- could it be from "playing" with my pills? or could it be some kind of infection/STD? HELP!

Could be bacteria vaginousis. Check with your doctor to be sure. Some women have a type of bacteria that grows in the vaginal canal when there is a lot of bacterial growth it can cause yeast inffections. Women with bacterial vaginousis naturally have some white discharge which can get thicker if the bacteria reproduces rapidly. This can be caused by many things. Bacterial vaginousis is NOT contagious nor dose it cause reproductive damage. Like I said though. Check with your doctor to be sure. Two simple painless tests.
