So for the past 4 days (since Sept.14), I've been experiencing very light bleeding. I thought it was my period, but it's way too light (my periods are always pretty heavy) and my period shouldn't even start until around the 20th. My vagina and the area around it have also been quite itchy.
I'm 17, and I am sexually active. The last time I had sex was probably Sept 2nd, and he pulled out (yes, I know, not the best contraceptive method. it's been working for two years, but my stupidity is probably coming back to bite me in the *** now). My boyfriend has been my only sex partner, and vice versa, so I assume it's not an STD. I was thinking maybe it's yeast infection, but I don't have any other symptoms aside from the itching. I also read another topic on this website where a lot of women had similar symptoms, and one of them said she was diagnosed with endometriosis.
I've done a bit of research, but I really don't know--- pregnancy? yeast infection? endometriosis? Any ideas at all are appreciated, I'm really starting to panic.
I do plan to go to the doctor's if it persists for another week, but I'd like to find stuff out on my own first, so if anyone knows any likely answers, it'd be appreciated!

SPOTTING COULD BE CAUSED BY IMPLANTATION...YOU NEED TO DO A PREGNANCY TEST TO MAKE SURE YOUR NOT PREGNANT. AS FOR THE ITCHING, HAVE YOU BEEN USING ANY NEW PRODUCTS OR DONE ANYTHING TO IRRITATE YOUR VAGINAL AREA....?
Thanks for the reply. and yes, I do plan to, but the itching is really throwing me off. I haven't done anything at all to irritate it.
