Ok, so I'm almost 16 and about 2 days ago I noticed so discomfort down there so I checked it out when I got home. We aren't really taught about the female anatomy at school, but I'm fairly sure the the hairless folds are the Vulva, or maybe it's the Labia. Either way, there were 2 spots that didn't have a head and were painful to squeeze. They weren't discolored and I have decent hygiene standards, so I'm not sure what's up. They weren't especially hard, but they weren't soft either. I can't really notice them and they don't itch unless I touch them. I don't want to have that conversation with my mum, but I need to know if I need to bring it up with her and get an appointment with the gynecologist. Important to note, I'm a virgin so it can't be an STI or STD. I'd really appreciate some help if anyone has any to offer.

This seems a fairly common question that a lot of girls ask on here, first off the vulva is the whole area the labia major are the outer lips an the labia minora the inner lips.
You say there are 2 spots right, are they on the labia major or the labia minora?
What area are they, near the top clitoral hood area around the middle area or down the bottom nearer the vagina opening?
Do you shave your pubic hair an if so are the spots on the area you shave or more on the inside the lip?
You say they are not red or discoloured or anything and they don't show up like a normal spot an can only feel them?
If you can answer those questions in as much detail as possible it will help.
