My husband needs to have coronary artery bypass grafting or "CABG". He suffers from heart condition for long time. Medical therapy didn’t help as much as we hoped. Well, he suggested him other alternative balloon angioplasty. The CABG will performed ten days from now and I would like to know what could happen after? What he can or can’t do it? I am very worried about him, please help me with this? I need advice about this.

I know a man who had CABG done. Right after the procedure he was on diet for two months. That was necessary for recovery. He took laxative supplements as well as fruit and vegetables because they are high in fiber. Well, there will lots of restrictions as heavy lifting; climbing stairs…sexual activity could be danger too. I remember he had trouble sleeping for a while.
