My daughter Samantha is 16 and we recently found out what she has been suffering from is POTS. After 3 years of systems and numerous doctors, and 2 hospital stays at the Childrens Hospital in Milwaukee, we know. On her 1st visit to the hospital she recieved a feeding tube, Sam had a hard time eating and keeping anything down. She has managed to learn to eat again, and has been able to finally get off the tube. The thing is we have had to try and find ways for her to take salt pills, it gives her an upset stomach. Anyways since she has been off the tube she has been having these brain fog insistances 2 or 3 times a day. It is very scary for her to say the least. Has anyone found anything that releaves this?? She is very concerned that this will happen in school which we hope she can return to this year after not being able to attend for most of last year. And that is another thing anyone have any pointers about schooling?
what can I do when this brain fog occurs?
