I recently noticed a blister formed on the outside of my vagina. It appeared shortly after shaving my bikini line. It is red and slightly tender to the touch. After showering this evening, I squeezed it to see if anything would happen and it immediately started bleeding. As I recall, blisters usually have a clear pus that comes out, not blood. I have thought of the possibility of herpes, but I'm not sure if that would be accurate. I am also sexually active. Please help!

Hi there.
I get those things, usually where I shave. They are sore when I first get them. Never around my vagina or near the opening. They are just from shaving and rubbing my legs together, I do that quite a bit since I work for a cleaning company at Holiday Inn. Worry not, they WILL go away. If it doesn't go away in 2 weeks or more than see a doctor but I doubt it's anything serious if it's anything like what I have/had. I get them alot right when I shave my area.
I hope this helps!
