I would not go back to pain pills, yeah it might be a temporary fix but Suboxone withdrawal can last up to a month. I would just fight through it my friend.

I dont have that option i was never prescribed. I would buy the pills. I have been an opiate addict for ten years. I didnt have a regular amount per day just whatever i could afford. I quit cold turkey 2 days ago. The first day was bad but it seems to be getting better. Based on what i have read i havent gotton the worst

I need to do this and determined . I'm just praying everyday that I feel better bc being on subs is not the answer when paying out of pocket . Stop going to clinic bc I need to save money . Now I'm done bc I do not want to go back to herion or pills . I go to meetings but hard for me to reach out to talk to other addicts . I should of checked into rehab but decided to do this myself . I don't know

I was good when I used it I prescribed but then started using to treat my anxiety . The clinic I went gives them out like candy if you have the money to pay for doctors visits and perscription. This ridiculous . I miss my appt today so therefore I'm shut off bc I don't want to h ever again to get into a sub clinic.

I am a combat vet who started to abuse oxy to deal with my problems. I was up to 4 or 5 80s iv and had to change. I threw away what life I had and the pride I felt for those things. I got on subs at 16mg a day and it worked wonders for me. After a year I decided to quit and good god was that fun. I felt like absolute c**p for about 60 days, but don't look at it as 60 days, just worry about right now. Don't stress about sleeping or the potty breaks, sorry I have 3 girls, just focus on right now. You can't control the future, but what you can control is not using right now and fighting. I've seen some true heroes in battle, but recovering addicts are the unsung heroes. Look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself I am going to make it. A man can live 3 weeks without food, 3 days without water, 3 minutes without air, but a man or woman can't live 3 seconds without hope. See that light at the end of the tunnel and get there. There might be days where you move 3 miles or there might be days you only move 3 inches, but no matter what don't stop

I was on Suboxone 16 mg every morning for six years my psychiatrist who gave them to me put me in the hospital about eight hours from my home in Durham North Carolina At a center at Duke University it was like a health club seriously a five-star hotel here is what the psychiatrist gave me when I came off cold turkey number 1 Klonopon 1 mg 6X per day Number 2 Neurotin 2700 mg per day number three Paxil 60 mg every morning number four Seroquel 300 mg at bedtime and last of all Halcion at bedtime to go with the Klonopon, and the Seroquel , and last Clondine , 4X per day. I had absolutely no with drawl symptoms whatsoever it has been three months now and I have not touched any type of opiate whatsoever including Suboxone I had extensive therapy group therapy and one on one therapy with my psychiatrist my psychologist and my psychiatric social worker for 30 days then I flew back home!! As of now my regular psychiatrist still has me on the Klonopin the Seroquel and Paxil, and a small amount of Neurotin. It's like I have never been on Suboxone please talk to your doctor about going to Duke university in Durham North Carolina for 30 days it is worth it it will save your life thanks for all Roger
