I think that I have scalp folliculitis. I know how it looks like because my brother had it few years ago. He didn’t go to doctor and it passed away but I don’t know do I need to go to ask for some medication. What implications could I have due to scalp folliculitis?

Mild cases of folliculitis aren't likely to cause complications and they often clear up without any treatment. Severe folliculitis can lead to permanent hair loss or may leave raised scars or patches of skin that are darker than normal. Also infection can affect the tissues underlying your skin or spread to your lymph nodes and bloodstream.
