If diabetes is a disease in which blood sugar levels are spiralling out of control, than what is a normal blood sugar reading? It is funny but, as a healthy person, this isn't something I have ever even considered. I have never measured my blood sugar level ever, in any setting, and have no idea how this all works.

For healthy non diabetic people, the normal range of blood sugar levels is between 3.6 and 5.8 mM. For diabetics, I think the goal is around 8, but I have heard that even that is not realistic at all times. I hope that answers your question? This is probably something that not many people know about unless they have diabetics in their family.
