i wanted to know what is the best type of exercise for getting my shoulders bigger and wider? 

I noticed how those olympics swimmers have wide shoulders and back and i was thinking that the reason for it must be the way the work out. Are there any special exercises for shoulders? Should i swim more or differently?

How about lifting weights, push up and increase intake of protein. Protein is a good source for building muscles.
