What is the earliest someone should take a pregnancy test?

Test no earlier than two weeks after you had sex OR when your period is due.
It takes at least that long for the test to become accurate. Even then, testing early, false negatives are common. Always use your first morning urine (wake up pee) for the best accuracy.

Just wondering, if you are doing an early pregnancy test it says to take the first urine of the day. If you wake at two in the morning to go to pee, would that be considered the first?
