i'm 38 year. i have get light-headedness and then been imbalance (like giddiness but not that kind
of giddiness which will cause one to faint) for 4 months already.
i get it from side effect of medicine - Suspected overdose. [One ENT specialist agreeded that i was overdosed].
The experience is torturing and scary even till now as it keep transforming. Now the light-headeded
subisded but other symtoms (like constant sense of nausea, imbalance when tunring the head, a tight band around the
head and sometimes pressing sensation on top of the head, sense of swaying when standing in an upright position
but don't really fall or faint, back muscle "tightness", whole body like lethargic and weak in normal actions) had emerged.
i have done MRI scan, blood test and tried many dizziness medicines. Have seen Mount E specialsit, SGH, CGh, ENT specialist
i'm gettng helpless. i'm really afraid it is starting symtoms for a bigger illness, which then could be detected.
it is very difficult for me to concentrate and work like this. Everyday is a torture.
Does anyone out experience like this and got any solution ?

I’m 30 and am experiencing the same symptoms as most of you (for 1.5 years). I'm still hopeful that I will find the cause of this constant lightheadedness. This condition has made me a hermit -- I avoid functions in fear that I will pass out, which I have twice. Furthermore, this has impaired my ability to drive on freeways which I’ve never had such issue. I’ve been to the ENT, neuro, had an MRI and brain scan, physical and vision therapy. The only thing left is cardio. Just curious if anyone has took anxiety medication, and if so, did this relieve the discomfort? I feel this may be my problem, but then again, I feel like my current condition is causing my anxiety. My primary doc wants to put me on meds, but I don’t want to put a bandage on the problem.
Best of luck to everyone!

If you're perfectly healthy, then
there shouldn't be any reason to be anxious. That was my biggest fear:
that medically something was off. Once I found nothing was, it helped
me relax. By the way, there's also this thing called a heads-up tilt test. You may want to google it and find out more. It may help isolate the root cause.

Hello,
I am elated (and saddened) to hear so many of you have the same symptoms! Over 2 years ago I passed out while driving - it was TOTALLY out of the blue! I had EVERY test known to man, and other than being diagnosed with anxiety nothing showed up. Again, it's been 2 years and I STILL have constant bouts of lightheadedness EVERYDAY - it's taken away my ability to drive long distances (I'm still afraid of it happening again), and I don't want to keep mentioning to my doctor because she just made my anxiety meds stronger. I do suffer from anxiety, but I don't believe it's the root cause. Let me know if anyone has received further information on this. I'm just happy not to be alone.
