I just recently shaved my pennis, shaft and groin. After about a week I noticed a red bump(one bump). It is red and swollen but does not really hurt and has no fluid in it. It has been there for about one week and has not gone away. I tried to pop it like a pimple but it had no fluid and hurt.It itches and burn a little. Its not very inflammed but worries me, what could this be????? ANy chance it could be herpes? I went to the doctor and the doctor said it didnt look like herpes. She squeezed it a little and a puss like fluid came out and then was clear. It was raised above the surface and looked pretty big. It hasnt spread and its only one bump. She gave me a prescription for antibiodics and told me to put a hot compress on it. However I am still worried about this, its till there, its still swore and its still one big bump! I am hlfway through the prescription and it has gone down in swelling but what is this????
Anyone??

when you shave your genital area the wrong way, red irritation bumps form....they are small and itchy and sometimes painful
do not try to pop these, it will just cause bleeding
when you shave your genitals, the skin becomes very irritated and these bumps form
they will go away, if you want you can put lotion on them to ease the pain, stop the itch and heal the skin
in the future before shaving you should
1. Cut the hair if it is long until its close to the skin (this makes shaving alot easier)
2.soak the area in warn water (this opens skin pors)
3. Pull/tighten the skin you are shaving (makes shaving easy)
4. Apply lotion right after you shave to heal the skin
this should prevent the irritating bumps

No, it is not herpes, don't worry about that. I am sure johnny knows what he is talking about. Because when you shave towards the hairs, it does make those red irritation bumps, whenever you shave, shave with the hair, not against.
