Don't believe it! When I was in my teens my areolas started getting puffy. By the time I was 19 they were huge and looked like large balls stuck on the ends of my boobs. But the guys I dated loved them. It took me awhile to stop being self conscious. For a long time I wouldn't go out without wearing a bra because they were so big and obvious. I finally figured out that most guys love big areolas, whether they're wide or big and puffy. I'm proud of mine. Sometimes it's great to be different!

I have quite the opposite opinion to your conclusion. I find small areolae rather dull, boring. The larger the more female, the dexter they are. I had, and have, a hard time convincing my wife of this. Hers are large and I love them. The nipple makes the breast.
