I'm having a very embarassing problem, my labia is itchy and swollen only on one side. there is a small red spot there that is unbearably itchy but again only one side and it seems to get worse as my period gets closer. I don't know if I picked up something in a public washroom or what. Any help would be appreciated

It sounds like it's an outbreak or a site for an infection or an STI.
To blame a public restroom seems a bit suspicous to me, as most women do not rub their labia on restroom fixtures, etc.
