I'm 24, have been on BC pills for 7 years, same BF for 4, no children and 1 abortion at 17. I have regular paps that always turn out OK and there hasn't been any previous issues with my BC pills. We live in the same household as my mother in law, so to speak, who has recently began menopause and I know that living or being around females for any extended amount of time may make your periods sync up, which they had. So, if she's getting menopause now, would it throw my cycle off balance? I've always had regular periods and I'm not pregnant, because we always use a condom and I had a pap in August and everything was fine, so why would I be spotting and having irregular periods the last month or two? Help?!
You may be stressed out. Living with a menopausal mom in law would make me want to jump out of a window. Tension in the house can be unbearable, i know. Being wired up can do funny things to our female selves, you just don't know what to expect.
Or.....
Being that you have been on the pill for seven years, maybe things are changing for you. What used to be predictable, suddenly becomes unpredictable. Maybe you should discuss this with your doctor. It sounds like you are very much in tune with yourself and it may be time for a change.
