Hey I'm in the same boat as you. It's either yeast or bacterial infection but I think your doctor is wrong my doctor told me the opposite . Your partner has to be treated too or he will give it back to you. After my partner got treated I didn't really have the problem anymore.

You can order boric acid capsules and applicators from Amazon. They are great. Trust me, more likely than not your mate is straying if you didn't have this issue before him. I also believe some chemistry doesn't mix. Use condoms until u are certain and that should eliminate your issue beyond treatment. Best to you.

Does your partner have excess skin over the penis? If yes he is reinfecting you with the yeast infection. The fungi for yeast are in the fold of that skin. Tell them to go get checked and make sure the doc swabs that area. Both meet to get treated and do not have sex until you have finished all the doses of medication. I hope this helps all of you!

Definitely keep in mind that your vagina was healthy and felt healthy before having sex with this guy. It can definitely be him provoking your yeast levels to increase and disrupt your ph. Your partner might have sex with other women which can cause your vagina to reject this new bacteria. And some bodies don’t mix welll .. (WASH UP THOROUGHLY DAILY) #Major

Hi, if you are treating the yeast infection until it has gone then its returns as soon as you have intercourse its probably because your boyfriend has it too.
If using boric acid you need to be yery careful as it can cause skin irritation and even damage the outer layer on somewhere so sensitive, your be far better off going to the pharmacy and getting medication to treat it that you both can use.

So im in the same boat as all of you, I get a yeast infection every time I have sex. I talked to my gyno and she said to get a cultural exam to determine if its reoccurring or persistent. If its reoccurring then they will give you a specific treatment to help prevent future yeast infections. If its persistent, (which means you've had this yeast infection the whole time and it never went away and only the symptoms did after treatment) then they will prescribe you medication for a few weeks to permanently get rid of the infection.

I just went to the doctors for this exact problem, she said it could be reoccurring because he is infected as well and gave us both a prescription. Hopefully it works because it's killing our relationship

That's exactly what I was thinking. Can't seem to find a link or literature about it tho. My bf is very large and lasts a very long time, by the time we are done my fluids are stripped and even with lube I end up with yeast a day or so later. Every time.

If its a reoccurring infection that only comes back after you and your boyfriend has sex he maybe passing it back to you every time you have sex and may need treating as well!

I'm in the same situation. Been seeing a guy on and off since 2014 and suffer from repeated yeast infections. We have an awesome sex life and are careful and have cleanly hygiene but I still get one almost every time. It's depressing to say the least
