Hey,
I am new here and I need advice. I am 15 weeks pregnant and I feel cramps in my midriff. They are not very intense, but I feel discomfort. Doctor says I am all right. Anyway, I would like to share my experience with someone that has experienced this during pregnancy.
Thank you very much!

Hello,
I also had some midriff cramps during pregnancy. Cramps during pregnancy are not a serious problem, although it is a very uncomfortable… the reason for midriff cramps is carrying a baby, which puts additional pressure on the midriff- it is very normal. What isn’t normal, are symptoms like fever, spotting, bleeding, vaginal discharge… In that case call a doctor. Try to find body position that will ease the cramps and try to relax. I usually got the cramps if I was standing too long; while I was sitting or lying, never had them. So, I suggest you rest as much as possible.
