I am 26 years old and lately I have noticed that my foreskin has a dry skin around one side of it. I think that due to masturbation and sex I have also rubbed the dry skin against my head and made that sore in. First it doesn’t seem to be a problem, but the dry skin seems to be getting worse and flaky, and has become sore. Since I noticed the problem I decided to stop with sex or masturbation! This soreness is coming from dry skin

Also I have experienced quite bad dandruff, and my face gets very dry. What could be a cause for this, and is this serious?

Well I would suggest you to try some sort of non-scented moisturiser or aqueous cream, unless you have picked up some sort of fungus infection. In the States doctors are not circumcision happy so go and see one if this does not help.

Hey there,

I would visit a doctor or better an urologist, because you may have a slight infection which is causing the dryness and tearing.

I've been putting up with this for some time now. The only thing that seems to work, is stop having sex/masturbating for about a week to allow everything plenty of time to heal. and I use a "Creamy" diaper rash ointment with zinc oxide and vitamins E and A. There are also lotions (usually burn creams with lidocaine) that will help with itching.

Maybe my problem is different, but it sounds just like what everyone is describing. Remember also to keep from moving around too much. Anything that will cause rubbing against the dry skin. I also try to keep things "adjusted" so there is no skin to skin contact. This could cause you to sweat. Moisture seems to make things itch more.

dry foreskin with rashes may be infection of fungus, because of masturbating for 15 years and not cleaning, i got chronic fungal infection and have to get it circumcised and I am not even sure that will help with my condition.

I have the problem you are describing right now. Search candida, or fungal infection (candida) on google, and you're symptoms might match theirs. Umm...I currently just got off anti-biotics for the second time this month, my scalp is itchy, the corners of my mouth are cut open, my anus has been really irritated when in contact with anything, or even thinking about it makes it seem itchy. As well, my foreskin is swollen at the tip, is dry, red and irritated.
