Hi chaps. I've had exactly this for a while now. Its a benign cist, not an std. I wasted many years being embarrassed before figuring out a way to deal with it. The small ones can be squeezed easily, but the larger ones can't. What I did was bought a scalpel set over Amazon, and when they get too big (generally one or two every 6 months or so):

I make a small incision and squeeze the pus out. It's potentially dangerous, and so care must be taken. I hold the cist firmly between my thumb and forefinger, and line up the scalpel with my other hand. I then pierce it, making sure to puncture the skin barrier and put the point into the midst of the cist. If you're too reticent, you'll give yourself a little nick and the blood will make the job harder. Once pierced (you'll know because the resistance on the blade will have eased) remove the scalpel the way it came. Don't move it about or make a line cut: the point is just to put a hole into the cist.

If done with a proper scalpel and a small point incision, it won't hurt at all. I tried using a needle before, but they're too thin. If you do this always dispose of the blade safely afterwards. It should leave a noticeable scar and it saves going to the doctors.

RE the blood pimples: it could something else entirely, but sometimes a blood vessel can break around the cist, under the skin, if squeezed to vigorously. If so, this isn't anything to worry about especially.

ive had this problem for maybe about 3 years or so and im 20 now, i get the bumps in different areas sometimes one , at times as much as 6 in different areas, maybe 3 on each side. many of the times it pops up in the crease between my thigh and scrotum meet, where my shaft and testiculer skin meet, and also the sides.. im thinking its an accumilation of sweat and physical activity? i wondered have i gotten them from straining too hard in the gym when powerlifting? but they also will pop up after i've had vigorus sex maybe a day or so after.. at times they go away when they are raised hard numb areas. in my past ive mannaged to pop a couple which pussed out to an open sore which stung all day and if touched by water or hands. ive gotten the pea sized and tiny ones. they all feel uncomfortable.. i dont know the causes nor a cure, and not sure of the actuall diagnosis havent been to doctor or mentioned it except to my parter. im not sure what to make of it, but after reading the responses im pretty sure it isnt an std but possibly acne, ingrown hairs, or any of the things mentioned.

I'm 62 now and I remember having the same problem when I was in my late adolescence some 40+ years ago.  Essentailly, what you have on your scrotum skin is a form of acne/pimple but different in important ways.  These little round cyst like things are extremely difficult to pop like a typical pimple. They are deeper in the skin and seem almost sealed. If you try squeezing the contents of the cyst out, more than likely all you'll get is pain, redness, swelling and a subsequently larger and harder cyst. I had them occur on my scrotum in various sizes from pinhead to nailhead. Here's what you do:  You take a sterile needle or other sharp object and insert it in to the center of the cyst and while bracing the skin by holding a finger right under the cyst.  Then you rip the top of the cyst open by pulling the sharp object up through the top of the cyst to open it up. (sounds a lot more painful than it is). You can then easily squeeze out the contents and apply an antibiotic. It heals quickly and never comes back. If you have really large cysts, it's probably because you made several attempts to squeeze out the contents unsuccesfully and that makes them get bigger and harder. You can still open up and empty these large cysts but it's definitely going to hurt a little more. Don't be too conservative. It's better to break or tear them open and empty them out than it is to just poke them and chicken out. That will cause a bigger cyst!  Get those unsitely things off your junk, man!  It's rwally a minor cosmetic problem. It's not anything serious at all. I cut one open today and it's the first time I've had to do that in 15 years. They go away by your early to mid twentys and are rare in middle age.

TO ALL MALES CONCERNED WITH BUMPS ON SCROTUM SACK A.K.A BALL SACK A.K.A TESTICULAR SACK. If your bumps don't fit the description of an STD. Read this. I am a 22 year old father and husband. I had 2 of these cysts in what appeared to be one pea sized bump. I had these for 6 years and was told by a doctor that they were ingrown hairs. and was given a cream that didn't work.

After reading the posts on here I was reassured that you can perform a minor surgery on yourself. I had tried about 4 times to pop these with a needle. This time I used a sharp 1 inch jaguar blade. It is easiest to place the bump between your thumb or thumbnail and pointer finger which makes the incision process much easier. Try and put the point of the blade in the middle of the hard spot. You will know when you have gone far enough as the white part of the cyst with come out at the tip of the blade. After you see have pierced the cyst squeeze the rest of it out. (You will bleed some and it may seem like a lot but it is nothing to worry about). After finishing with the cyst draining (Ill say draining, sounds better than surgery) wash the area and apply pressure with a paper towel if you are still bleeding. I don't suggest using toilet paper since pieces of it will stick to your ball sack.

There is no reason to feel ashamed about these bumps for many of us have them. I believe mine were caused by shaving. I am sure this will be helpful and good luck to all. And I leave with this. You have balls so act like it when it comes to these bumps!

Small pimples, bump etc on scrotum....yes i know what you are talking about. A couple of days ago, i first noticed a small bump on the lower side of my left testicle, which i can not see directly unless i use the mirror. But when i touch it, it feels a little painful. On day 2, it increased in size and so did the pain. On the third day, it was awful. It pained everytime i walked as my underwear rubbed against the "small cyst" like thing. I did a lookup on the internet and was worried it was some kinda STD or Prostate cancer and was worried i would lose my testicles. (ha ha). It was almost the size of the top of my little finger and had i see pus. On searching internet, i understood that it could be simple folliculities. I consulted my family doctor and he suggested i use Fucidic acid content, Theres a cream by the name FUCIBET. I applied it twice a day, one after bath and next before retiring to bed. On the fifth day, the pus came out, followed by a little pus ball kinda thing and later blood. I cleaned the place, applied this cream again and walla day 6 am 95% fine.

If any one of you is worried, try it before you go to the doctor, It worked for me.

Ive had maybe 20 of these keratin pearls that I removed myself using sewing needles.  I wish there was something to do to prevent them coming back, but so far I have about a 20 percent rate of recurrence.  If anyone knows of preventative measures (other than washing which I do) it would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe a symptom of pulling inner thigh hairs?

Just keep popping- use a sterilised needle or make a tiny insertion with a sterilised scalpel- or bite the bullet and go see your doctor.

I myself am 21 years old and I too have what appears to be a zit or small pimple on my scrotum. I have squeased it numerous times and it continuously secreats a white pusy material but does not pop like a zit or a pimple would. Even after all the puss is squeased out, there will remain a small hard bump. It has never gotten any bigger and I find that it will just fill back up with this puss like material after a few weeks. It has never caused me any sort of pain so I never thought it necesary to see a doctor.
