2 regular periods and now 10 dAys late on 3rd cycle after stopping bc

My husband and I are ttc. I stopped taking my bc after 4.5 yrs in June. I had to periods right on time and each cycle was 31 days exactly. This past month I kept really good track of my temps and did ovulation test daily. We thought we timed it perfectly and we were really excited when I was late. I took a test when I was 2 days late (33 days into cycle) and it was negative.. Waited four more days (37 days into cycle) and still negative. I'm now at day 41 of my cycle with no period and no spotting. I'm going nuts! I just found info that maybe I didn't ovulate and thats why i didnt have a period but my test seemed like I had ovulated .. HAs anyone else had two or more regular cycles and then not ovulated?
