How long is the recovery time for a laminectomy, discectomy. I have been told by my dr. that I can have the surgery Friday & be back to work on Monday? I feel this is not realistic. I do not want to reinjure it. Im a 44 y.o. woman & I had this surgery 6 yrs ago but pain has come back. Ive tried PT & injections with no relief. I just got a new job (im a nurse) & Im afraid I will lose it if I ask for time off. Any replys would be great! Thank you!
