3 negative pregnancy test results, five months no period, some pregnancy symptoms?

okay well im 18 and my periods have always been regular since i was 11, had an abortion in december and periods have been slightly dodgy since.... been bleeding lightly for the past 6 weeks straight (it has happened once before in march) and there is pain there, not cramps though. But i have several symptoms of being pregnant. My breasts have changed colour around the nipple and are sore and full feeling, my lower tummy has bloated quite a bit and its firm, im eating butter - and i have HATED butter since i was about 11 years old, including eating other things ive never liked. My food routines have changed... Last time i had sex was about 9-10 weeks ago, i have the implant in so i didnt use protection (silly me) But ive taken 3 tests in the past 2 or 3 weeks and theyre all negative... What is going on lol???? ANY helpful advice would be appreciated, thanks.

have any of you considered polycystic ovarian syndrome? (PCOS) It is a condition characterised by missing periods/irregular periods without pregnancy being the cause. This could especially affect those of you who haven't had a period for months at a time. It is an endocrine disorder and it's actually pretty common. It's caused by the affect of too many androgens (male hormones) inhibiting theproduction of estrogen which interrupts the ovulating cycle, therefore if you aren't ovulating, you don't get your period. Next time you are at the doctors ask her to do a blood test to detect the level of androgens in your body. If they are high the doctor will send you for a pelvic ultrasound to detect whether or not you have polycystic ovaries or PCOS. Other signs of PCOS are weight gain, acne and heavy painful periods when you do get them. Other symptoms may occur which isn't surprising considering hormones are all over the place. I freaked out and thought I was pregnant and I did the test and had high levels of androgens which explains why I wasn't getting my period. You can just undergo hormone therapy to help regulate yourself eg: go on the pill. High androgens doesn't always mean PCOS and it can be treated. :-)

hey guys i have not gotten my menstrual for over 6 months i'm very worried bc i am not ready for a nother child i have a ten month old at the moment.. i took 5 pregnancy test and all comes back negative i really dont know what to do nd i pray to god that im not ... is there anyt explaination to why my period have not come, no im not using birth controll pills and im not being procteted while havong sex ...... please i need some answerss ... thanks

there were a lot of free methods, like the depro, pills, etc...if you knew you were going to be sexually active then it is your own fault...Raise that child with love and remember it is your own fault and not the child... oh if your breastfeeding you will not have your period for a while....be responsible,,,and smart!!...it is greedy to pray to god for that,,children are a blessing,,and you are dening your child which is wrong!! that is selfish...

First off, I would like to say that it is great that believe in saving yourself. However, coming on here and judging all these girls is not great. I would also like to point out that I am an atheist, respect your religion but I don't deserve to be judged by you. It might be "dirty" to you to have sex before marriage, but that's YOU! It is perfectly fine with me to have sex with my boyfriend of 4 years, I don't feel "dirty", "shamed", or "selfish. I just feel sorry for you because you can't accept reality. It isn't okay for girls to sleep around, you're right about that. I don't have loads of money, no career, not getting married, but I'll make a damn good mother despite your skepticism. If my future daughter happens tio become pregnant before marriage, I'll be an excellent grandmother too!

Okay, first of all, check your spelling next time you decide to leave such a narrow-minded, offensive comment. Secondly, just because people are not married doesn't mean that they should not have sex. Maybe in your mind or in your religion or whatever, it is wrong, but that is not how it is to everyone else in the world. In reality, our bodies were made to get pregnant once we got our periods (which, at least for me, was at about age 11), which means we are hard-wired to have sex at this time (i'm not condoning this, i'm just stating a fact). Also, having sex at a young age or before you are married does not make you a prostitute. And you cannot compare getting raped and pregnant to having sex with someone willingly and accidentally getting pregnant. Rape is a serious issue and shouldn't even be in the same sentence. And just because girls do have children at a young age does not mean they are shameful or stupid, nor does it mean they would be poor and use food stamps (which, by the way, is not such a bad thing and does not throw your dreams out of the window. that's stigmatization, jerk). I know some women who had children at a young age and are very successful and happily living their lives with their families. Sex is something to share with someone you love when you are mature and ready as a means of connecting with that person on an intimate level. Granted, there are people out there that just have sex for pleasure, which should be frowned upon, because, as you stated, a person should respect his or her body. But if you have sex with someone whom you love and care for and whose feelings are mutual, then there is nothing wrong with that. And for a girl to have sex and pray that she is not pregnant does not make her sinful or selfish. It makes her responsible in the sense that she knows she is not ready to raise a child. And for her to pray for that means that she knows that she cannot take care of that child and that if she were to have it, that child would not have what it needs to live a full and happy life. The point is, if you think you are ready to have sex with someone whom you love, make sure you protect yourself. And if you make a mistake, that's okay. My last period was Sept. 7th. It is now Dec. 20th I still haven't had a period. I am terrified. I'm not sick. I feel perfectly fine but I am a teenager. Idk if this is common amongst teens or if I could really be pregnant.

It is common amoung teens to early 20s. I just had a case myself where I hadnt had my period since June this year and I just recently got it and had it for 2 wks. This was cause by stress. I am and have been trying to get pregnant and test would come out negative so I did freak out. Only to find that it was caused by stress. It wouldnt hurt to see your doctor just in case...
