Is it possible that dealing with lots of stress and emotional trauma can manifest itself in lightheaded, dizziness and rash?
For the most part I tend to be a fairly healthy person, I've only been bed-ridden sick maybe 3 times in my life and the rest I can pretty much shrug off because it hasn't had a huge influence on my day to day. Even my low's don't interfere too terribly much, they certainly don't keep me off my feet for long or from doing my normal day to day stuff.
However lately it almost feels like all my stresses and worries have caught up with me and for the last week I haven't been able to even stand for 10 minutes at a time without holding onto something due to being lightheaded all the time. I'm lightheaded when I'm sitting and laying too which is really frustrating. I haven't driven in over a week now because I'm too lightheaded. I have this irritating rash, like the type when your body is sweating out an allergen or you eat too many onions or garlic (I can't help it I love onions and garlic).
I'm waiting for my application for health insurance to go through before I go see a doctor. Because pre-existing conditions are a huge handicap for getting health insurance and currently I have no pre-existing conditions (well not in the last 15+yrs) besides childbirth (children cause grey hair which means they must be some sort of 'condition').
I'm half wondering if it's not psychological though. As in I finally got a chance to relax from all my child's medical problems, relationship problems, financial problems, etc problems and now this pops up. Out of no where. Which has me thinking it could possibly be all that pent up stress just finally making it's debut.
All you psych majors out there. Is it rational to think my lightheaded dilemma could just be the consequence of too much stress and such? Do I need a doctor or maybe just a good therapist?
The only drug I take is caffeine in my morning coffee and dark chocolate bar. I drink mildly for health benefits (red wine & micro/home-brew; good for the heart and lots of vita b's and bone building goodness). In case it matters. :)
Sorry that was long winded.

This doesn't sound stress-related so much as infection-related. If you have extreme dizziness with a rash, I'm wondering if you have a fungal or bacterial infection.
I would get to the emergency room. I understand you don't have insurance yet, but this sounds like something you want to get checked out immediately.
