Hi Doc, I noticed for a month now that when I will wipe my vagina after urinating there's a soft tissue almost coming g out. Thank you so much for your help

Hi, guest.

It sounds like you're describing a situation where you're noticing some sort of tissue protrusion in the vaginal area. This could be a sign of a few different medical conditions, and it's important to get a proper diagnosis from a doctor. Here are some possibilities:

  1. Pelvic Organ Prolapse: This condition occurs when a pelvic organ, like the bladder or uterus, drops from its normal position and pushes against the walls of the vagina. It's more common in older women, especially those who have had multiple childbirths.

  2. Cystocele or Rectocele: These are specific types of pelvic organ prolapse where the bladder (cystocele) or rectum (rectocele) bulges into the vagina.

  3. Vaginal Polyps: These are growths that can occur inside the vaginal canal, often benign but sometimes can be felt as a lump.

  4. Uterine Prolapse: This is when the uterus descends into the vaginal canal, sometimes even protruding outside the body in severe cases.

  5. Vaginal Infection or Inflammation: Infections or inflammations can cause swelling or abnormal growths in the vaginal area.

Treatment will depend on the underlying cause but may include lifestyle changes, pelvic floor exercises, pessary devices, medication, or in some cases, surgery.

Hope this helps.
