I hope someone can help me.....I have had vaginal bleeding off and on for the last three months....my last episode started on Nov. 1st and lasted till the 14th....it was heavy (having to change my pad every hour and a lot of times while wearing a tampon and pad bleeding threw at 1-1/2 hrs.) and bright red....just before that about ten days I had, had my normal period, so I was not due for that. Now just 12 days later I started bleeding again, not so heavy but bright red and clotty. This is about the time that I should start on my regular period so I believe that is what is happening this time around.
I am 39 and on coumadin. I have had my levels checked and they are right where they need to be. I have just recently with this last bleed associated it with when I have to really strain with a bowel movement. I seem to have to do this often lately, I am guessing not enough water in my diet, and I get constipated a lot. Could my straining so hard actually cause me to bleed from my vagina? And if so, why do I bleed for so long afterwards? I also am pretty positive that I have that rectocele, because sometimes I have to push up and the area between my vagina and rectum to get the bowel movement to come out. But even with this, why am I bleeding for weeks at a time? I have had a pap done after the 14 day bleed, still waiting on those results. There is some cramping also. But it is like I am having two week long heavy periods every two weeks....Thankx for any advice
