I masterbate alot but I'm a virgin. I'm 15 so I didn't feel confortable asking my mom bout this. It started as just a hard lump under my mons pubis bit then it rose up a little bit and had a purple looking tint. It was shiny but after a while it scabbed over. I would peel the scab an it would look like a shiny marble but it was painful. I tried popping it but nothing really happened and I took a needle to it and just a little blood come out. It started to flatten out but is still a purple spot about the size of a marble. Then 2 little red spots formed underneath it. They don't hurt but all this is still there and it's been probably a month or 2. Now it feels like another one is forming but as of now it's just red but it hurts. I'm worried but I dont want to tell anybody because I'm afraid it's from masturbation.. Please help!
I really can't see how this could be due to masturbation. I think it is probably a run of the mill issue. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be checked out, because we don't know what it is. There is a poster here going by Violet Cherry who is exceptional about giving advice, and on the issues women experience in particular. I would like to ask her to comment because she would do a much better job here. It may be a little bit before she responds. I don't know what time zone you are in, Violet Cherry is quite a few hours different than mine. I think she is something like 7 hours different from central time in the U.S. If she is unable to help you with this and no one better comes along, I promise I will help you with this!
So please hold on, someone will be here to help you. Just give it a day to make sure. If this is something you don't feel like you wait on, then please respond we will go ahead and start.
Is this ok with you?
Hi Guest, it is unlikely to be due to masturbation, and unlikely to be an STI/STD unless you have had sexual contact with someone else. You need to get this seen to by a doctor. No-one can diagnose this on the internet. That would be dangerous. It is probably something very straightforward and easily treated. And you don't need to mention masturbation to your mum when you tell her you need to see the doctor. It may seem an embarrassing thing to talk to the doctor about but they have seen it all before and should b sensitive. If it makes you more comfortable can you see a female doctor? Don't leave it. Get it seen to so that tyou can get some proper treatment. All the best
Hi Guest
From what you've described it could be a few things, the most likely I'm thinking of being either an ingrown hair, which are usually caused because you shave upwards against the hair growth...Well don't most of us for a closer shave lol but this can happen. It dosnt always need to be shaving that causes ingrown hairs,, and when you describe it scabbing over, most probably because you've been poking it the actual hair follicle (root area) may have become infected, especially if it starts to become sore. The other possibility I was thinking was a clogged sebaceous gland, These start when the sweat and oils in your skin become blocked, and although if this happens in other areas of your body it where may be possible to unclog them by sticking a sterile pin in and giving it a squeeze this often does not help down below and we end up needing antibiotics.
If I were you I'd keep an eye on it for a few weeks if it does not go away or starts to get bigger your going to need to either tell your mom, or I'm not sure on age restrictions in your area but there should be none - Have a look in the phone book or on line for your local STI clinic. NO this is not a sexually transmitted infection but you can use this service for free advice and treatment. The staff at these clinics are usually mostly female, and if not you can request a female and they are generally all really nice people. Telling your mom isn't actually that bad once you've said the sentence the embarrassment factor is gone, she is not gonna put on her mining hat and ask for a look down there o.Oand may know a home remedy that can treat it without even needing to see the Dr. You dont need to tell her you were masturbating just say you noticed in the shower or something.....Shocking as it may be your mom probably did the same thing at your age, so even if you do steer the conversation in that direction she wont be shocked. Whatever you decide to do don't leave it longer than a few weeks as I'm not a health care worker and they are the only people who can diagnose something for certain. The anticipation of making these appointments is often way worse than when you actually attend, honestly they are all very nice people will put you at ease and are so used to seeing bottoms and other things nothing will shock them so dont worry
