My 6 year son has a problem when he is passing stool then couple of time there was fresh blood with the stool, doc said there might be a polip inside the anus. I want to know what is the treatment to cure it

Polip is skin growth and it is usually found around rectal area. It can be very painful, especially for a 6 year old. Blood is very common with polips and it is a sign that this is a serious condition that needs immediate attention. However, they usually occur in people older than 50 years of age. You son is very unfortunate to have polips. Does your son have diarrhea or is he having constipation?
What did your doctor suggest for a treatment? As much as I know surgery is one option. And it depends on the size of the polip. I think the doctor first needs to determine the size of your sons polips for accurate treatment.
